As a fellow creative, I hear your frustration. Most of my followers are off platform and it's been tough extending my reach on platform. I think getting other creatives to pay is difficult, since we are many of us in the same boat. I'd simply say to keep writing, shooting and trying new things. See what sticks what doesn't. I do know that a paid subscription requires a value add. So part of your experimenting May be along those lines.
Rosie, first of all, soooo good to hear Finn is doing better ... what a worry. And re attracting paid subscribers .... I am not the person to ask(!) but part of me says it is about creating a community of like-minded Souls ..... our intentions are so very important .... & the Universe is always listening. Sending much love & light your way .... from Mexico. xxxxx
Hi Rosie. I am afraid that there are a lot of people like me that have built up an automatice negative response for any request for cash from any source ather than one I have initiated, like buying something. How to get over this? Difficult as we are constantly hearing about friends losing various amounts of cash to scammers, a friend lost £300 just a few days ago. Perhaps if you offer a free week or month before taking payment? But don't ask for card details until the free period runs out - a lot of sites offer free trials, take the carddetails at the initial contact and then hope that people forget to cancel them. Operating on the internet means you are working in a very murky world that most of us are extremely wary of.
