Earlier this year I went to Venice for the Biennale. It was one of the most wonderful experiences in my life, one I am still thinking of months later. My ticket to the Biennale is still valid and I keep wishing I could afford to go back to visit the pavilions I couldn’t make it to last time, to return to the art that have stayed with me, to walk the streets and canals in the autumn light and see how different it might be to spring.
Taking photographs in Venice is a dream. It is easily one of the most beautiful man-made places in the world. I am currently working on a photo essay, trying to put my thoughts about this weird and wonderful place together in one place.
I wanted to share one of my photographs with you all, one that I feel incapsulates so much that I love about the city.
