Dartmoor
In honour of my post on Tuesday about my pilgrimage to the Brontë House on the edge of the Yorkshire moor, I thought I would share a photograph from the moor that is beloved of my heart: Dartmoor.
The photograph was taken near Haytor, on the walk along the old granite tramway that leads the a long abandoned quarry. It is one of my favourite spots on the moor. I love the way the tramline in the image tempts the viewer onwards and out of frame.
